I'm sorry. You wanted to give a colleague something good and it let you down - that is the worst way for a shirt to fail. Your refund has already gone through, so there is nothing left for you to do. I won't try to talk you round, and I won't pretend the construction was fine. Thank you for saying it plainly. It goes to the people who sew, not into a folder.

Thank you - and you have put your finger on something real, so let me explain it rather than apologise vaguely. The design is scaled to the panel it is printed on. A XXL front panel is a great deal larger than the size we use to render the product photo, so the same artwork comes out physically bigger on your shirt: same design, magnified. On a small size it looks like the photo; the further you go up the size range, the further it drifts from it. We show one image for every size, and that is the mistake - it should show the scale you will actually receive. On the fit: thank you for the measurement, that is genuinely useful. If a XXL sits like your usual 56, then our chart and our garment do not agree, and I would like to check that particular item against the pattern. Could you tell me which product it was? I am glad it fits, and you are welcome to keep it. But if the print scale bothers you enough, a refund or an exchange is still open - just say so.

Lana, thank you for writing, and I'm sorry this gave you a fright. The shirt is not ruined, and this is fixable. Please run it through the washing machine on a normal cotton cycle at 60C with your usual detergent. Nothing special, no soaking. The dye that has spread will come out completely - we guarantee it. The one thing these garments don't like is hand washing. While a piece is new there can still be a little loose dye on the surface, and a gentle hand wash lifts it and then leaves it sitting on the fabric instead of carrying it away. A proper machine wash rinses it off. This only happens the first few times; after that it stops altogether. And please don't worry about the dinosaurs themselves. The print is dyed into the cotton, not laid on top of it, so it cannot wash off, crack or peel - the first washes should be the firm ones, and the print will not care. If after the 60C cotton wash you are still not happy with how it looks, just tell me: we will send a replacement or refund you, whichever you prefer.
