“The lemon color is nice, but that's about it. For this price, the stitching should at least be straight, and there shouldn't be loose threads. A kids' T-shirt for 35 should have better craftsmanship! The prices for all these tees are pretty high, so the quality should match”

You are right, and I am not going to dress it up. Loose threads mean the trimming step was skipped, and it was skipped by us. That is not a difficult thing to get right - it just has to actually be checked before the shirt goes into the bag, and on yours it wasn't. Your reasoning about the price is correct too. If we ask $35 for a kids' tee, the finish has to earn it. The lemon colour and the print are not the hard part for us; the last five minutes at the table are, and we clearly didn't spend them on your shirt. If you send me your order number, I can trace the day and the line it came off. That is what turns this into a fix rather than an apology. In the meantime: a full refund or a replacement, whichever you prefer, and you don't need to send the first one back.
